Services & Treatments

The Iowa Clinic Employer Health Services program offers a variety of options for your company. Below is a list, but our team is willing to consider any idea you have related to your company’s health and needs.

High-Performance Networks

What is a high performance network? The employer designs their benefit health plan to incentivize employees with a lower copay to see an Iowa Clinic provider. If an employee chooses to see a provider outside of The Iowa Clinic, the employee will pay a higher copay.

The Iowa Clinic has been a leader in the State of Iowa in terms of Wellmark’s Value Index Score (VIS), a measure of quality and outcomes since 2014. Our dedication and commitment to deliver high quality and cost-effective care has led us to a unique partnership with a large Des Moines based company and an insurance company.

Occupational Medicine

Healthy employees are happy and productive employees. Our team of occupational and environmental medicine experts can help you develop programs to protect and improve the health of your workforce.

Pre-Employment Physicals

A pre-employment physical ensures your new hire is physically capable of performing the duties that will be associated with their job. It will also determine a baseline for your employees at the time of employment so you can keep track of changes in their health.

DOT Exams

Our licensed medical providers can provide DOT exams. The Department of Transportation (DOT) requires a DOT physical typically every two years to ensure that "safety sensitive" commercial vehicle drivers are in good health to safely perform their jobs. A DOT physical consists of detailed health history form, physical exam of hearing, vision, blood pressure and other health indicators and urinalysis.

Other Exams and Vaccinations

  • Drug Screenings
  • Measles, Mumps and Rubella Vaccinations
  • Hepatitis B Vaccinations
  • TB Testing
  • COVID Testing
  • Calcium Scoring (Helps measure your calcium score to determine your risk of developing coronary artery disease.)
