Lung cancer, up until now, has been difficult to diagnose until its too late because there are no symptoms early on. A new procedure now available at The Iowa Clinic Pulmonary / Critical Care department is the first in the metro to offer the latest technology in lung cancer detection called SPiN Thoracic Navigation System. Dr. Matthew Trump has performed this procedure and identified stage one lung cancer in patients, which can be treated and potentially cured.
